As a Virtual Bookkeeper at Restoration Growth, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and accuracy of our company’s records. You will collaborate closely with our finance team and be responsible for maintaining and managing our financial transactions. Your primary duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll Management: Handle payroll processing and related tax filings, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights and analysis to assist in decision-making and budget planning.
Requirements:
- At least 3yrs solid experience.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High degree of confidentiality and trustworthiness.
